MISCELLANEOUS

I have recently completed an image for a friend's blog; she - and her, now, fiance - embarked on a round-the-world tour last autumn, dedicated in no small part to the pursuit of superlative nightlife in exotic locations - absolutely required reading! Check it out at:http://www.theflybynight.com

Just finished the third installment (illustrations and book design) of the Soundroutes phonics reading programme (of which more below...),and putting the final touches to a related volume designed to help carers of children with reading difficulties.

The wedding invitations and related stationery were, against odds including a serious knife wound to my drawing thumb (sustained while washing up - yes, that dramatic), completed in time for The Big Day. In the end, I was quite pleased with the outcome, although now have a surfeit of 'Dreadnought Grey' card and acres of v. narrow white satin ribbon for which I have yet to find appropriate use... I'll be adding a slideshow of the stationery (invitations, orders of service, menus, placecards and seating plan) shortly.
